Harman Phoenix II has landed in the UK, and it is already one of the most talked about colour films of the year. Designed from the ground up, it fixes the unpredictable quirks of the original Phoenix and replaces them with cleaner colour, finer grain, and much better scanning results. Harman has built this ISO 200 colour film for both 35mm and 120. It is made here in the UK and developed in standard C41 chemistry, so it works perfectly with our workflow at Just Shoot Film.

Who Should Shoot Phoenix II
Phoenix II has a warm, slightly punchy look that suits street photography, travel, and documentary-style shooting. It is especially lovely in medium format. Even though it is not my personal favourite film stock, I have seen some excellent customer results through the lab, especially from 120 shooters. If you enjoy the colour vibe of Lomo films but want something made in the UK with a cleaner base and more reliability, Phoenix II will suit you perfectly.
Shooting Tips
Rate at ISO 200 for the cleanest results. Push to 400 for more contrast. Expose for the shadows to protect detail. Pairs well with overcast skies and soft natural light.
